REEF - New adventures and summer festivities
Reef are confirmed to play the Lusty Glaze Festival on Sunday May 29, 2011 when all this dim, depressing, dismal weather will be a distant memory. In theory.
This is the first announcement of what we hope will be a run of festivals in the summer. But it does seem a long way off in January..
What, you ask, are the Reef folk up to in between times?
Dom is writing and working on the finer details of the new Black Swan Effect album which will be recorded in Paris at Charlie Winston’s studio. We will keep you posted on that.
While continuing to tour this isle, Gary & Jack’s wonderful StringerBessant album Yard is taking a new turn in early 2011 with a PLEDGE MUSIC campaign where you can get involved from the ground up on new releases - in this case the new EP - plus a whole myriad of exciting packages all of which give a portion of the profit to Surfers Against Sewage.
Kenwyn is continuing to write and record with his new project Goldray, currently in the rehearsal studio in London with vocalist Leah Rasmussen and drummer Paul Winter-Hart (Kula Shaker), getting the first album finished up and preparing for a string of live dates scheduled for February, March and April of next year.
We’ll keep you posted on all new shows, side projects and releases right here.
